We hold our Chapter meetings at The Citadel Mall on Sam Rittenberg on the second Saturday of each month at NOON in the Best Friend of Charleston Railway Museum.

THE BEST FRIEND OF CHARLESTON RAILWAY MUSEUM located at The Citadel Mall in Charleston at 2070 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.  More fun than a museum.  Located next to Dillard's in the mall.  Free admission !!  
While you are there, see our Chapter's display of the wooden Best Friend of Charleston model built by George Harper and the Cole Compound steam locomotive built by Ernest Daniell. Also...learn how to run an HO scale train with a single 9 volt battery...many interactive events for children.  See the video of the Best Friend being loaded on a truck bed for the trip to Atlanta.
THE CHARLESTON AREA MODEL RAILROAD CLUB invites visitors to their operating layout at the Citadel Mall located on Sam Rittenberg.  You may want to see your model train ride the rails, too, so bring it along with you.
